Set goals. If you're starting a weight loss program don't just plan on losing weight, plan on losing a specific amount of weight each week. Trying to lose 50 pounds might seem like an impossible goal, but losing 3 pounds a week is different. That's a goal you can achieve. And before you know it you'll have lost the entire 50 pounds in a little more than 3 months.
